News: New 20mph zones in towns won’t work, says the AA

“Road safety campaigners and motoring groups are at loggerheads over moves for a blanket imposition of 20mph zones in residential areas. Campaigners urged the Government to make 20mph zones ‘the norm’ in urban areas and villages – insisting their widespread roll-out has reached a ‘tipping point’.
