A key part of the Strategic Transport Plan are the ‘strategic development corridors’ they are proposing. You can find large scale maps of the corridors here.
TfN have arranged consultation events for the SDCs that are separate from those for the Strategic Plan itself. Here’s the TfN description of these: “As part of the Plan, we have identified seven strategic development corridors across our region where we will identify multi-modal investment priorities in the short, medium and long term. These corridors link important economic centres that are currently in need of improved connectivity. “We are continuing to work on three of these corridors this year, and in addition to the consultation events above, have arranged a number of corridor-focused progress briefings. At these briefings, we will present the evidence we have gathered and how we have used feedback from stakeholders, as well as the objectives and outcomes that have been agreed for each corridor.
